Varun Gandhi surrenders amidst violence
A local court here on Saturday sent Varun Gandhi into judicial custody till March 30 after he surrendered in connection with a case filed against him for his hate speeches. Chief Judicial Magistrate Vipin Kumar sent Varun – the BJP candidate for Lok Sabha polls – into two-day judicial custody after he moved a surrender plea shortly after reaching the town this morning.
