"Entrepreneurship Sensitization Day" organized by ABS

Aryans Business School (ABS) organized "Entrepreneurship Sensitization Day" at CII, Sector 31, Chandigarh. This event was organized to impart skills to MBA & BBA students to become successful entrepreneurs.

Dr. J. Sadakkadulla, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr. Gopal Munjal, CEO, Ind- Swift Group; Mr. Satish Goel, GM, Bank of India (BoI); CA Vivek Arora, Chairman, NIRC, ICAI; Mr. Rajansh Thukral, President, Surya Pharma; Mr. Rajiv Arora, Alumnus, IIM- A; Prof. J. S. Saini, NITTTR; Prof. B. B. Tandon, Former Chairman, UBS, PU; Dr. K. K. Mangla, Former Chairman, UBS, PU addressed the students on the occasion. The event was presided over by Mr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, ABS.

Dr. Sadakkadulla said that the global meltdown has affected many economies adversely but as India is largely a domestically driven economy, impact is less on the Indian economic system. Also Indian banks are adequately capitalized and strong institutions. They are always ready to support financially the new generation entrepreneurs. Hence taking advantage of those MBAs should become job creators, rather than job seekers.

While addressing the students, Mr. Satish Goel informed the students about the various schemes of BoI especially meant to aid young entrepreneurs. Further Dr. Gopal Munjal, mentioned the need of the young entrepreneurs in the era of meltdown. On this occasion Mr. Rajansh Thukral, motivating the students said that they should not hesitate from taking risks as life is full of possibilities. Adding some excitement to the event Prof. J.S. Saini, with the help of various business/management games, taught the students the various skills required to be a successful entrepreneur.

Speaking on the occasion, Anshu Kataria said that this event was organized by the institute in order to develop and groom the potential first generation entrepreneurs and to provide them with a platform to interact with the seasoned experts from various quarters.
