Subject:- Demand for registration of criminal case and arrest  of Surjit Singh

             Sarpanch and his son RajwinderSingh Kali  R/o. V. Jaid, PS Bholath,

             District Kapurthala .Also action against  Mohinder Singh DSP Bholath,

             Parminder Singh SHO Bholath and ASI  Rajinder Singh PS Bholath  for

            delerication  of duty, inaction and connivance in shielding  the accused

            under Political Pressure:-

 

 Madam,

 

           I wish to bring a glaring instance of Jungle Raj ,inaction and connivance of the Kapurthala Police. Yesterday at approx.6 PM Sh.Swaran Singh S/o  Faqir Singh R/o V. Jaid was abducted ,Kidnapped in the presence of his wife Kulwant Kaur and mercilessly beaten up by the above named persons alonwith 10 others for not voting for SAD-BJP yesterday .Surjit Signh and others brandishing swords paraded the victim only in his under garment( Kacha) around the Village and subsequently he was taken to their “Dera” which is approx.500 meters from the Village. Sh.Swaran Singh the victim was detained for more than 45 minutes at the “Dera and severely beaten up, he lost one tooth and has suffered  serious injuries on his hand and other parts of the body.

 

                     I telephonically informed Sh.Mohinder Singh DSP and Sh.Parvinder Singh SHO Bholath about the incident . Sh.Rajinder Singh ASI PS Bholath was sent to the spot, instead of arresting  the culprits said ASI Rajinder Singh forced the victim Sh. Swaran Singh to sign on blank papers which was later produced as a compromise document by the Police.

 

                     The Victim Sh. Swaran Singh was admitted to the PHC Bholath for medical treatment at approx.9.30 PM yesterday .The local Police has not registered any criminal case against the accused due to Political pressure by Bibi Jagir Kaur till now. Now I have learnt that the accused have got admitted one of their supporters with self indicted   injuries in  PHC Bholath today i.e 14-5-09 at approx. 12 Noon.

                Therefore , I request the Election Commission to intervene in the metter and have the whole episode inquired  by a fair agency other than the Kapurahla  Police and register criminal  case against the accused for abducting, kidnapping and seriously injuring Sh Swaran Singh.I would further  request that strict action be taken against Sh.Mohinder Singh DSP , Sh.Parminder Singh SHO Bholath for complete inaction and delerication of duty for not taking action against pressure .Strict action be taken against  Sh.Rajinder Singh ASI for forcing the victim to sign on blank papers to produce a compromise later on in favour of the accused .

 

I hope justice would be delivered of the earliest.
