Welcome to June!
May was a busy month for us. TravelPod unveiled a completely new blogging platform design.
I also went on a roadtrip across America meeting some of my favourite bloggers. We had so much fun that I'm organizing another meetup in Toronto.
TravelPod's slick new look
Completely new design
TravelPod is undergoing an intense redesign at the moment.
Phase 1 of the plan is already complete. The new design of the "dashboard" system will be in use on Monday, June 1.
All of our dedicated beta testers have given us incredible amounts of feedback, and we thank them for it for the rest of our days.
We've rebuilt the system from the ground up. Check out TravelPod founder Luc Levesque's guerrilla-style video (don't mind the shaky camera) introducing the new look.
In case you can't wait for Monday, there is a way to try out the new system right now.
1. Login to TravelPod as normal.
2. Click "Try it out right now" in the the bright green banner at the top of your screen.
USA meetup recap
The crowd at the Phoenix meetup
Me and my friends hopped in a car and met up with a bunch of TravelPod bloggers.
Thanks to everyone who came out, I had an awesome time.
Planning a meetup in your own town for TP bloggers is easy, I did it and I don't even live in any of these places!
I met some great people that I wouldn't have met otherwise. Contact me if you want to plan one of your own.
Toronto meet and greet
Come out for NXNE in Toronto
We had so much fun at the meetup in Toronto, that I wanted to have another one.
This time, we'll be doing it at the indie rock festival, NXNE. There will be fantastic indie bands onstage all day, and then, if you're up for it, more club hopping at night.
