Swift School of Pharmacy (SSP) organized a seminar

Swift School of Pharmacy (SSP), Rajpura today organized a seminar on the topic “Present and Future Trends and Opportunities of Pharmaceutical Education”. Six generations of Pharmacy Professional from different parts of country were gathered on this occasion. It was the first event in the history of Pharmacy profession, where six consequent generations of Pharmacy had interaction under one roof, with the presence of eminent members in the field of pharmacy. Dr. Vimala Devi, Professor Emeritus, Andhra University as head of the family, followed by Dr. V.J. Dhar (Director), Dr. A.K.Tiwary, Professor (Punjabi University, Patiala), Mr.Anshu Gupta (Asstt. Professor), Mr. Damanpreet Singh (Lecturer) and the students of SSP were gathered as the sixth generation. Dr. G.Munjal, President, Swift Fundamental Research and Education Society presided over the function.

Dr. Vimala Devi emphasized that Pharmacy profession is a selfless profession with wide horizons. Dr. V. J. Dhar enthralled the audience by telling them about the importance of teacher student relationship by quoting the example of his own association. Dr. A. K. Tiwary discussed the ways to the students about the GATE success. Mr.Anshu Gupta interacted with the audience by discussing the wide ranging capabilities in the complex field of drug manufacture and technology.

Later Dr. G.Munjal felicitated Dr. Vimla Devi with a shawl and expressed vote of thanks by presenting the mementos to all the speakers.
