An emergency meeting of the All India Krantikari Brahmin Sabha was held today under the chairmanship of its president Sat Paul Sharma besides discussing other problems being faced by the Brahmin community. It was also discussed that in the coming parliamentary elections its president Sat Paul Sharma was empowered with one voice that he may decide to contest Chandigarh parliamentary seat himself or to who the support is to be given.
Sharma further assured the delegates that the interest of the Sabha is supreme and very shortly a decision will be taken accordingly.
All the members were strongly of the view and protested that after winning the elections no political person has ever attended to their cause. So at large it was felt that either the Sabha should contest itself or enblock to give his support to the deserving candidate.
Sharma , All India president assured that as he has to visit all the states and the decision will be conveyed to the local executive very shortly and by that time no member of the Sabha should commit to any candidate of the political parties till the decision of the Sabha.
