Personality Development Workshop Organized at Aryans Business School (ABS)

Chandigarh (12th April, 2009)

A Personality Development Workshop was organized at Aryans Business School (ABS) yesterday. Dr. N. K. Sahni, Founder Head, Post Graduate Deptt. of Commerce & Management, S.D. College, Chandigarh was the keynote speaker on the occasion. The workshop was organized for over 275 students of MBA, BBA & BCA with the objective of developing personality traits among them.

Dr. N.K. Sahni elaborated the various constituents of a good personality through the examples of Dhirubhai Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Henry Ford, Indira Nooyi, Sunil Mittal, N. Murthy etc. He said that for professional students, personality development is first step to the ladder of success. The professional students should concentrate on external personality traits in the beginning; which includes mannerism and communication abilities, he added. The students were also given various practical exercises to help them to analyze their personality traits.

Dr.Sahni also stressed the importance of planning especially for the professional course students. Answering the various queries of the students he said that a management student should inculcate modesty, honesty, hard work, tolerance, courage, leadership, fairness, positive thinking, confidence etc in him along with the truthfulness.
