Subject:- After withdrawl of Congress ticket to Sh. Jagdish Tytler and Sh. Sajjan Kumar your turn to prove credentials by suspending Sh. Sumedh Saini IPS responsible for eliminating Sikh youth in fake encounters.

Dear Badal Ji,
Now that the Congress party has cancelled the candidature of Sh. Jagdish Tytler and Sh. Sajjan Kumar keeping in view Sikh sentiments over 1984 Anti- Sikh riots, it is your turn to prove your sincerity towards Sikhs as well. Needless to remind you that Sh. Sumedh Saini IPS has been charge sheeted by a special CBI court at N. Delhi u/s 342, 343, 364, 120b IPC for kidnapping and eliminating three persons in RC No. 2 (S)/ 94. Besides another F.I.R No. RC 10 of 2008 u/s 120-b, 364, 343, 330, 167, 193, IPC has been registered against him by the CBI for eliminating innocent Sikh families. Instead of suspending such like officers having criminal propensities you have recently promoted him from IGP to ADGP Chief Director Vigilance. You have in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court have eulogized him as a brave officer, Do you consider officers killing innocent people in fake encounters brave?
I also question your paradoxical approach on the Tytler issue of 1984 riots. You were Chief Minister Punjab from 1997-2002 and your NDA Govt. was in power from 1999-2004, during this period Sh. Jagdish Tytler got his first clean chit from the CBI. Why you did not oppose his clean chit then? Why you not ask the then PM Sh. Vajpayee ji to intervene? Probably you did not want to embarrass the BJP, or because there were no elections in India that time for you to rake up religious issues for political gains.
Your son Sh. Sukhbir Badal shared the same Parliament benches for the last 10 years with Sh. Tytler and Sh. Sajjan Kumar, he did not utter a single word against them, can he show the Sikh masses anything said against them on record. During your second tenure as CM after the 1984 incidents what have you done for the re habilitation of the 1984 riot affected? What have you done for the Sikh army personnel who deserted their barracks at your call in 1984? I think you did not have the courtesy to meet even one Army Sikh deserter who languished in jails for years.
In fact the popular quote best fits on your double standards in politics “To run with the hare and hunt with the hound” as is clear when the Akali Dal and the SGPC are demanding commuting the death sentence awarded to Davinderpal Singh Bhuller, while you are promoting and awarding Sh. Sumedh Saini responsible for eliminating the family of Bhuller. In case you call yourself a pro- Sikh leader and your party a representative party of Sikh, I urge that you immediately suspend Sh. Saini IPS to prove your credentials, or else I would term you as hypocrat with double facetted policies.
