Tewari predicts massive win in Ward 57
Addressing a public meeting in the ward last evening in support of the party candidate Hari Singh Brar, Tewari observed, the way people of
Tewari pointed out, the Akali-BJP alliance which has been in power for two and a half years now, have nothing to their credit to go to the voters. He said, he had been told that certain development works had been initiated in the area and these were just to allure the voters of the ward.
The MP also warned the people against the designs of the alliance government. Referring to the uninterrupted power being supplied to the area, while rest of the state is reeling under power crisis, Tewari said, it will automatically go off once the election is over. “This happened in Jalalabad, Kanuwan and Banur and this will happen here also”, he observed.
Appealing the people to vote for the party candidate Brar, he pointed out, he was a well learned man and had done lot of social work. Besides, he had represented the Punjab Agricultural University Teachers Union for a long time. “The choice is yours and you must chose the better candidate”, he appealed to the people.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Surinder Dawer, Pawan Dewan, Malikt Singh Dakha, KK Bawa, Nahar Singh Gill and Hari Singh Brar.
