Muslims across the country will observe the holy month of Ramzan from Sunday except in Kerala, where devouts have started fast from Saturday.
Muslims around the world unite in a period of fasting and spiritual reflection. However this year Ramadan is subdued due to the prolonged recession and rising inflation. Mumbai is all ready for the much awaited festival of Lord Ganesha.
