Gopinath Munde detained at Mumbai airport

Mumbai: BJP general secretary Gopinath Munde was today detained at the Mumbai airport from where he was scheduled to take a private airlines flight to Kolhapur.

Munde was scheduled to visit Sangli later today where he was to address a meeting in connection with a recent riot at Miraj in the district, party sources said.
Deputy commissioner of police Brijesh Singh said that Munde has been prevented from going to Miraj in wake of the communal clashes and his boarding pass has been seized.
