PENALISE PARTIES MAKING FRIVOLOUS COMPLAINTS: HARSIMRAT BADAL TO EC
Chandigarh April 18 – The SAD-BJP Bathinda candidate Ms. Harsimrat Kaur Badal today asked the Election Commission of India to fix stringent norms for punishing political parties and candidates who indulged in making false, fabricated and fantastic complaints against their opponent merely to gain cheap media publicity.
In her letter to the EC, Ms. Badal also called for specific time frame for deciding such complaints and definite penalties for complaints found to be frivolous. She said that the tendency among some political parties and candidates to deflect attention from their own weaknesses by leveling false allegations or raising a hue and cry about issues that had no relation to reality was on the rise and needed to be checked.
In her letter, the SAD-BJP candidate specifically expressed surprise over one of her rivals, Raninder Singh of the Congress, lodging a complaint with the EC on her alleged remarks that villages that did not vote for the ruling alliance in Bathinda would be denied government grants for development works. Raninder’s complaint, she said, was clearly the result of the Congress realization that almost all the Panchayats in the region had openly expressed their admiration for development works undertaken by the SAD-BJP government. “I can understand my brother Raninder’s desperation and I even sympathise with him but I would also like to advise him that a resort to lies or to a stray misleading media report is hardly going to bail him out of his difficulties. I am sure that if he were not contesting this election, even he would agree that the development undertaken by the Parkash Singh Badal-led government in Punjab has been phenomenal and without a precedent in the history of the state,” said Ms. Badal.

Subject: - Request to take up the issue of discrimination against Sikhs by the U.S Army, with the United States Govt. at the highest level.
Sir,
As has been reported in the Hindustan Times dated 16.4.09, two Sikhs namely Capt. Kamaljit Singh Kalsi a doctor and Second lieutenant Tejdeep Singh Rattan a dentist, who have just completed an army programme that pays for medical education in return for military service were asked to remove their turbans and cut their hair to become eligible for active duty in the US Army.
Needless to mention that unshorn hair and turban are symbols of pride for the Sikh Community and asking Sikhs to cut their hair and remove their turban amounts to hurting the sentiments of not only the two officers but the entire Sikh community. The Sikh community led by an organization ‘The Sikh Coalition’ have launched a signature campaign to end this biased and discriminatory act of the US Govt. A petition has also been submitted to the US Army besides holding a protest in front of the historic Marine Corps War Memorial near Pentagon on Tuesday in Washington.
The Sikhs are already suffering on account of discrimination against Sikhs living in France, where the Govt. has banned wearing of turban and other religious symbols in public schools and Govt. offices. This ban is under challenge in the United Nations Human Rights Commission in New York.
In order to restore the dignity and pride of the Sikhs, I would request the Govt. of India to take up this important issue at the highest level with their counterpart in the US Administration, to end this extreme discriminatory attitude against those Sikhs wishing to join the US Army.
I hope immediate priority would be given to this issue.

CHANDIGARH HAEMOPHILIC WELFARE SOCIETY OBSERVES WORLD HAEMOPHILIC DAY
CHANDIGARH APRIL 17:
The Haemophilic Welfare Society of Chandigarh today observed world hemophilic day here at Khudda Jassu near PGI and organized a day long open clinic for patients with Haemophilia (PWHs) for the effect treatment and management of the disease.
Addressing the Haemophilic patients on the occasion, Dr. Harpreet Singh, President of the Society said that the state governments of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory of Chandigarh should immediately address to the problems of PWHs and chalk out a strategy to give adequate financial, medical and moral support to them in order to cope up with this mental trauma. He pointed out Haemophilia was a hereditary disease characterized by deficient activity of blood clotting factors of VIII & IX. Dr. Singh emphasized on the need to provide necessary backup support to the affected parents to enable them to cope with the tremendous psychological stress from the day one when their child was diagnosed as a Haemophilic. To achieve this objective NGOs and other social and voluntary organizations could play a vital role in overcoming the stress encountered by these hapless parents for none of their fault. Similarly, PWHs should also be encouraged and motivated considerably to lead a happy and normal life by giving them timely care and treatment and concerted efforts should be made by the parents, teachers and medical fraternity to boost their morale so as to lead them a normal; life without developing a feeling of inferiority complex amongst them.
Dr. Singh further said that the society was vigoursly pursuing the case of free supply of Factor VIII and IX with the state governments of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Union Territory of Chandigarh on the pattern of Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra
Dr. Maghar Singh, Finance Secretary of the Society attributed this disease as purely a genetic disorder and had nothing do with a good or bad luck. He pointed out that it was the bounden duty of the parents to prepare their children psychologically to muster enough courage to bear the brunt of the disease. He advised the PWHs to get them regularly medically checked so as to maintain the base line of the factor VIII or IX. He also impressed upon the doctors of the PGI and research scientists to participates in the open clinics for the well being and benefit of the PWHs.
Earlier, the president of the society Dr. V.K. Chhabra appealed to the Central and State Governments to provide adequate medical and financial help to the Haemophilics. He also called upon the electronic and the print media to promote awareness about Hemophilia among public in general, doctors, paramedical staff and NGOs so as to minimize the sufferings of hemophilics. He also urged the members of society to form a core group to take up various matters with the Chandigarh administration and the PGI authorities in an effective and result oriented manner.
Dr. Dr.Pallavi Saini, Physiotherapist underscored to hold such clinics regularly and should be located in the hospital out patients thereby offering consultation in all necessary areas of specialized knowledge; hematological, surgical and orthopedic, physical and physiotherapeutic, dental, social and psychological & educational.
As many as 180 patients were clinically checked up on the spot and all of them were infused free Factor-VII besides vaccination of Hepatitis-B to 50 patients and booster dose to 30 patients. Dr. Saini practically demonstrated few exercises to the PWHs for improving the mobility of their joints.

ਜੱਸੀ ਖੰਗੂੜਾ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ: "ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿਓ"ਪਿੱਛਲੇ 5 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੈਂ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੀ ਸੀਟ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਿੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਚੋਣ ਹਲਕੇ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ, ਅਰਧ-ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇੰਡੂ) ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਨੈਤਕਤਾ, ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਸਲਈ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸਲਈ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਸਰਵਸਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ, ਅਖਿਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਕਤਾ, 2009 ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀਤਵ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। 2004 ਦੇ ਕਰੜੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਸੋਚਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ: ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਹੈ।ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਿਰਿਆਸ਼ੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਤਾਰ 'ਚੋਂ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਣਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਹਨ।4 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਦਾ ਜੀ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੁਰਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕਿਫ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ, ਦੇਸ਼ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਤੀਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਹਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ। ਮਨੀਸ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ, ਡਾ. ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨਾਥ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਈ ਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੈਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ 40 ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਲਈ ਜਨੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਲਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਾਜਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਨਵਾਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ, ਡਾ. ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੌਰ, ਇਕ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਦਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ, ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਬਣੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਮੁਦਾਇਕ ਸਵਾਸਥ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਰਮੌਰ ਸੋਧ ਲਈ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ।ਇਸਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਖੇਤਰ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਜਨੂਨ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਰਮਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਨੂਨ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ 1984 ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਖਿਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਯੂ.ਆਈ. ਦਾ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਸਿਰਫ 18 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਤੰਕਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਮ੍ਹਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਮਾਜ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1985 ਤੋਂ 1988 ਤਕ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ 1988 ਤੋਂ 1993 ਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਲਈ ਪਦ ਉੱਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਕ ਉਤਸਾਹੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਰਤਾ ਮਨੀਸ਼, 1992 ਵਿਚ, ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਆਫ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਬਣੇ। 1998 ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਯੂਥ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਬਣੇ।13 ਮਈ 2009 ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵੋਟ ਮਾਇਨੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਸਾਡੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੋਟ ਕਰੇ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵੋਟ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਵੇ। ਉਹ ਇਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ (ਡਬੁਰਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ) ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਪਲੇ ਵਧੇ, ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨਇਕ ਯੁਵਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ 2009 ਵਿਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਦਮ ਵਧਾਓ ਜੋ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੱਦਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧਤਵ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਖੜਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਜੀ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੋਟ ਦੇ ਹਕਦਾਦ ਹਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵੋਟ ਡਾ. ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਲਈ ਵੋਟ ਹੈ।ਜੱਸੀ ਖੰਗੂੜਾ ਐਮਐਲਏਹਲਕਾ ਕਿਲਾ ਰਾਏਪੁਰ
ਜੱਸੀ ਖੰਗੂੜਾ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ: "ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿਓ"ਪਿੱਛਲੇ 5 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੈਂ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੀ ਸੀਟ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਲਿੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਚੋਣ ਹਲਕੇ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ, ਅਰਧ-ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੇੰਡੂ) ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਮਜਬੂਤ ਨੈਤਕਤਾ, ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਸਲਈ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸਲਈ ਵੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਸਰਵਸਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ, ਅਖਿਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਕਤਾ, 2009 ਦੇ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧੀਤਵ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। 2004 ਦੇ ਕਰੜੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਸੋਚਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ: ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਹੈ।ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਿਰਿਆਸ਼ੀਲ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਕਤਾਰ 'ਚੋਂ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਣਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅੱਜ ਹਨ।4 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਦਾ ਜੀ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੁਰਮ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕਿਫ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਕੀਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ, ਦੇਸ਼ਭਗਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਸਹਿ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਤੀਤਵ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਹਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ। ਮਨੀਸ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ, ਡਾ. ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਨਾਥ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਈ ਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੈਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਤ 40 ਤੋਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਲਈ ਜਨੂਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਲਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਾਜਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਦਮੀ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਨਵਾਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ, ਡਾ. ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੌਰ, ਇਕ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਕੁਸ਼ਲ ਦਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ, ਪੀਜੀਆਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਬਣੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਮੁਦਾਇਕ ਸਵਾਸਥ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਰਮੌਰ ਸੋਧ ਲਈ ਪਦਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਵਾਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ।ਇਸਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਖੇਤਰ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਜਨੂਨ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਰਮਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੰਨੂਨ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ 1984 ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਖਿਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਯੂ.ਆਈ. ਦਾ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਸਿਰਫ 18 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਤੰਕਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਮ੍ਹਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਸਮਾਜ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਲੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 1985 ਤੋਂ 1988 ਤਕ ਸਕੱਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ 1988 ਤੋਂ 1993 ਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਲਈ ਪਦ ਉੱਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਕ ਉਤਸਾਹੀ ਕਾਰਜਕਰਤਾ ਮਨੀਸ਼, 1992 ਵਿਚ, ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਆਫ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਬਣੇ। 1998 ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਯੂਥ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੈਸੀਡੈਂਟ ਬਣੇ।13 ਮਈ 2009 ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵੋਟ ਮਾਇਨੇ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਸਾਡੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੋਟ ਕਰੇ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵੋਟ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਵੇ। ਉਹ ਇਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ (ਡਬੁਰਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ) ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਪਲੇ ਵਧੇ, ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨਇਕ ਯੁਵਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ 2009 ਵਿਚ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਦਮ ਵਧਾਓ ਜੋ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੱਦਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧਤਵ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।ਇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰੋ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਖੜਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਜੀ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵੋਟ ਦੇ ਹਕਦਾਦ ਹਨ।ਮਨੀਸ਼ ਤਿਵਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵੋਟ ਡਾ. ਮਨਮੋਹਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਲਈ ਵੋਟ ਹੈ।ਜੱਸੀ ਖੰਗੂੜਾ ਐਮਐਲਏਹਲਕਾ ਕਿਲਾ ਰਾਏਪੁਰ
